a portion of your dues will also be used to develop brand awareness of the smbtn as a national network of qualified business technology providers. over the next year, you will begin to see the smbtn logo on websites and in print, as well as in the trade press.
dues will also be used to help develop exclusive content and training for the smbtn, some of which will only be available to business membership.

how do you differ from nasba, ascii, icca, itspa, and a host of other similar organizations?
while elements of our programs may be similar, our goals are not. we are organized as a network of both business and independent consultants, resellers and solutions providers to small-to-medium sized businesses. our primary goal is to increase business opportunities for our membership by associating them with a recognizable brand, expanding their geographic area of opportunity, as well as, the skill set available to them.
how much does it cost to be a member of the smbtn?
community membership in the smbtn is free. business membership is $360, paid annually.

what have you actually accomplished in the last 12 months?
here is a list of just some of the things we accomplished over the past year:
united multiple sbs partner groups throughout the us under the banner of the smbtn. we share a common online forum (yahoo group) and resources.
hosted a table at all the local microsoft connections, technet and ts2 events in the past year.
appeared on the front page of the business section in three newspapers with a total circulation of 101,000 daily subscribers.
hosted quarterly in the field� training events for our members. these events were held all-day on a saturday and featured vendor, industry or peer experts as trainers. all of the events included lunch, internet access, and access to live servers. each event was
provided at a low cost to our members.
became a silver partner for sonicwall, giving members the ability to purchase their equipment at attractive discounts and access to technical support & training resources.
